How to transfer your Liked Songs to another Spotify account

Liked Songs is not a normal playlist: you can't share it, follow it or open it from another account. To bring it to a new account you copy the songs into a playlist first, or let a tool like the free Soundmovr like them again on the new account for you, in the same order.

The quick way: with Soundmovr

  1. Open soundmovr.com and make the free Spotify app it asks for (once, about two minutes).
  2. Connect the old account and the new one, each on Spotify's own login page.
  3. Press Read library, leave Liked Songs ticked (untick the rest if you only want those), and press Start moving.

Songs are liked oldest first, so your newest likes end up on top again, just as before. Songs the new account already likes are skipped. If the order matters to the song, tick Keep the exact order of Liked Songs: it saves them one by one, which is slower but exact.

The manual way: in the desktop app

Phones can't select all songs at once, so use the desktop app or the web player.

  1. On the old account, open Liked Songs.
  2. Click one song, then press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on a Mac) to select them all.
  3. Right-click the selection and choose Add to playlist → New playlist. You now have a normal playlist with all your liked songs.
  4. Make that playlist public, or copy its link (Share → Copy link to playlist).
  5. On the new account, open the playlist, select all songs the same way, right-click and choose Save to your Liked Songs.

The songs arrive on the new account, but they are all liked at the same moment, so their order in Liked Songs may come out mixed. The copied playlist keeps the original order if you need it.
